Windows 7 is still to..well reconsideration to use it or not to use it. That balance only Gears of war 2 can turn to W7 favor. Why use new OS if there aren't any games to publish it...yet...

You guys have no idea of what all of you are asking for. As much as i love playing gow , gow 2 is a piece of CRAP, its nothing like gow pc and it has a lot more exploits, glitches and other related wtf moments, not to mention more host advantage. I know all of this because i being playing it online since it came out.

lol, you say it's crap becasue you already played it for a long time, we pc gamer never got a chance to play, surely we want it, whether it's good or not that good, but first it must be ported to pc for us to judge, and yes, the new editor for mappers...

Don't say i did not warn you. the only thing that could possible fix gow 2 pc is dedicated servers which epic did not even put for gow pc

I hope they keep the separated playlists.

why epic release unreal DK this time? it has little help to gears pc edit, release a gears 2 pc with a enhanced editor is all the way better, but now they just want pc gamers focus on unreal series modding and mapping ? seems bad...

I guess EPIC released UDK because UE4 is coming out soon, and GOW2 (IF it did come out on PC) will work on UE4, that's what i think

The udk is a cash generator for epic (nothing wrong with that), if you make a game sell it and make over $5000 you have to pay epic 25% of your profit. Your not allowed to make anything ut3 or gears related. So if you want to play or make maps/mods for for gears 2 your f*#ked. I'm happy to play with udk but I would prefer gears 2 with an editor ,I can't understand epics stance regarding not releasing gears 2 for pc, the piracy argument is crap, every other major games company release games on pc and console, And the fact that microsoft are touting windows 7 to be "the" games platform is a joke , piracy didn't kill pc gaming ,microsoft and their red ring of death xbox did it. sorry for the rant and bad grammar but I have been awake all night playing with the udk , I'm off to bed to dream of what kantham and co could do with the gears 2 editor, goodnight.
