Over the last few months, we have laughed at Sony for losing lot of exclusives to the Xbox 360 but today they got their little revenge by announcing that Unreal Tournament 3 will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PC in 2007. That means that the Xbox 360 version won't ship before January 2008, at the earliest.

Furthermore, the PS3 version will support user-generated content. We don't know yet if the Xbox 360 version will support such a feature, considering the rigorous rules for content available through Xbox Live Marketplace.

Thanks to the open network of the PLAYSTATION 3 system, Unreal Tournament 3 will also be the first game to feature robust user generated content including multiplayer maps, custom game modes and much more. Developed by North Carolina-based, Epic Games Inc., Unreal Tournament 3 is scheduled to be available in November.
