As you may know there are minor problems with these versions of the Unreal games, but it isn't anything that can't be fixed... Easily.

To fix Unreal Tournament Game of the Year Edition (had some weird registry error that prevented the use of UMod files) just download and run this: http://www.unrealadmin.org/forums/at...2&d=1135788169

The CD 2 textures don't do anything except cause problems (glad they left them out this time) and take up space so your not missing out on anything there, but if you do want (hella) better graphics click the link under my signature and then click the second link on that thread.


Don't worry about Unreal II everything works fine. The servers for it went down some time ago and it's multiplayer (XMP) was ported to Unreal Tournament 2004. If you want Unreal 2 multiplayer just google XMP for Unreal Tournament 2004 and install it on Unreal Tournament 2004.

Unreal gold patch, THANKS SO MUCH.

It allows you to play that game online with the other servers. This needs to be stickied.


Also I noticed windows doesnt recognize UCC.exe. SO i cant decompress Uz2 files. (may not be unreal anthology prob though)

Hi.
I just buy an Unreal Anthology and want play Unreal Tournament on the internet. The problem is that, when i try connect to any online server, UT says "Version of engine mismatch". Doesnt matter what gametype i need to play. Its same for all.

Can you help me with this, please? Thanks.

I just bought all of the Unreal games off Steam in the sale.

I've downloaded Unreal Tournament and was trying to play it while UT3's downloading.

I have a problem in the game though. I think it's a framerate issue. The game is way, way too fast but only at certain times. When the game is busy - lots of explosions and gunfire and bots around - the game runs at the right speed, but when nothing's going on it accelerates madly. I think my framerate might actually be TOO high.

Is there a way to set a max-framerate in the developers console? I've checked a list of commands and there doesn't seem to be one for it.

the Unreal Anthology released 17 Mar 2008 on Steam in the USA, Great Britain etc.
But we, the GERMAN people are still waiting for SteamSupport since over a year now and nothing happened. Everytime we got the same message in Steams Epic Store: Available soon in Germany
What does it mean?? Some more years?? Did you have forget us??
We are glad about UT3 Support, what you can see on the increasing german servers, but we miss the old Games UT99 and 2004. And don´t thing that the purchase are sloping in germany, may be it has give the impression that it is so, but it still, cause we import your games from foreign countries to go about the German Gore cuts (no blood or its green, no splatter and so on).

If this has been requested before, sorry. But as I didn't see it, it's new to me....

Steam has added most of the old Unreal games, could you please add the KEY entry codes for the 'Unreal Anthology' DVD set to Steam? This disc includes Unreal Gold, UT GOTY edition, UT2004 and Unreal2. This means I technically OWN all these games, and should be able to install them through Steam.

But Steam won't accept the code on the DVD for this anthology. I'd like to install these games with Steam and access them via steam. But as I don't have a 'steam approved' KEY number, the only way I could do so is to buy the games a second time through steam with your 'unreal deal'.

Of course, since I already own these games, I'd rather not 'buy' them twice.
Is there any way you can add the Unreal Anthology DVD KEY number to the Steam database - so I can install selected games from the disc through Steam? I asked the people at the VALVE forums, but they said that I needed to ask EPIC to give Steam access to their Key database....
