That laser rifle looks like the weapon of the movie District 9. Does it make people explode like in the movie?

The Arc Rifle (first image) is from district 9

The Laser Rifle (Second Image) was concepted by Hypergames2K8

we also have modeled the P.R Cannon (Rail cannon for short)
also a flamethrower with alot more weapons coming soon.

As for screenshots of the last two i mentioned (well lets just say we cant give everything away just yet lol)

Seriously though... looking good.... I can't wait to see the arc in action... Amazing!

I guess I wasn't the only one in the theatre watching district 9 that saw the ending and thought of unreal... My buddy and I were in the theatre and when that gun came out and started obliterating everything... we just looked at each other, smiled and said "Mmmmmm giblets", "Double Kill", etc... imitating Unreal voices for that whole sequence.

I swear that movie would have been less enjoyable if I didn't play soo much Unreal,

"I'd never have sex with a f***ing creature man!"

Yeah thats exactly what i thought when watching that film then i noticed people in the forum wanted it as a weapon so we took up the challange to make them

Also looks like we might have to PS3 cook it
The Arc is going to be a true InstaGIB weapon (splat goes the player lol)

Hey, could you also make the white alien gun from district 9? I mean, the alien gun that wikus used to escape from the people which wanted to eat his alien arm. I really don't know what did it fire, but it would be a cool replacement for the shock rifle.

Also, a complete District 9 weapon pack would be awesome.

The alien mech from the movie is also cool.

We are doing the other alien weapons

the one he used to escape is the sonic disruptor
we will also be doing the mortar style one that does the big explosion
